Is Ice Fishing Gambling?
It is, and that deserves a plain statement. Real rupees are staked, the stop position is random, and the house keeps a margin on each bet: about 2.9% on Leaf 1 and Leaf 2, and between 4.3% and 4.8% on the three bonus bets. Is Ice Fishing Legal in India?
Since 1 May 2026 the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 has been in force. It prohibits offering online money games to people in India and prohibits advertising them, and it applies to live casino titles such as Ice Fishing. Offshore operators holding a Curaçao or similar licence are not exempt; their domains can be blocked under the Act and the IT Act, and payment providers are barred from processing such transactions.
